"The home ministry had asked for certain details about the proposal and we have given them. The home minister assured me the proposal will be cleared soon," Dikshit said after the meeting. It is learnt that the home ministry sought to know from the city government the requirement to set up such a body. In the half-an-hour meeting, Dikshit told the minister that the government wants an early clearance to the proposal.

Sheila meets PC over MCD trifurcation - Times of India
NEW DELHI: Chief minister Sheila Dikshit visited Union home minister P Chidambaram on Friday to seek an early clearance for the state government's proposal to split the Municipal Corporation of Delhi into three. This was her second visit in the past one month.
